About me

I’m a marine biologist in the Physical Oceanography Department, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (USA). My research focuses on the ecology of marine megafauna. I am particularly fascinated by pelagic seabirds, true biodiversity gems.

In practical terms, this means I’ve spent most of my recent past counting albatrosses, dodging penguin bites and pulling stunts on R.

When I’m not doing that, I love surfing, I am a keen pasta eater and I really enjoy birdwatching, although that one’s kind of work-related.
